About This Project
In furtherance of the Education Support Programme introduced by the Executive Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government, Hon. Muhammad Gambo Zion, a total of 250 students have successfully been sponsored for their NECO/SSCE. This sponsorship initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on parents and provide equal opportunities for learners across the LGA to participate in national examinations.
This intervention demonstrates the administration’s unwavering dedication to strengthening educational access, empowering young people, and promoting inclusive community development.
Impact Assessment:
The programme is already generating positive outcomes, as it directly removes financial barriers that often prevent talented students from sitting for crucial examinations. By supporting 250 beneficiaries, the initiative is expected to improve overall academic performance within the LGA, increase the number of students transitioning to higher institutions, and encourage families to prioritize education. In the long run, this investment in human capital will contribute to higher literacy levels, reduced youth vulnerability, and a more productive and competitive community.
