About This Project

The Executive Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government, Hon. Muhammad Gambo Zion, has successfully reactivated the long-abandoned solar-powered borehole at Unguwar Sarki Yan Kilishi. The intervention follows several months of water shortage experienced by residents due to the breakdown of the previous system.

The reactivation includes the repair of faulty solar panels, restoration of the pumping mechanism, and rehabilitation of the water distribution network. With this upgrade, the facility is now fully functional and able to deliver clean, safe water to the community.
